Colorado HIghway, west of Denver

Lee has been fascinated by RVs for years, but it was four wheeling with his Jeep that led to purchase of his first RV in 1998. It was an Aliner camping trailer that Lee towed behind the Jeep to offorad events. The first was a Jeep Jamboree in Ouray, CO shortly after the purchase.,

In 2001 after their marriage Lee and Cec bought a 28' Chateau Class C motor home. Our primary reason for purchasing the motor home was to have a more comfortable way to get our Jeep Wrangler to four wheeling events around the country.

After convincing themselves that they really liked motor home camping, they decided in 2004 to move up to a 34' Itasca Suncruiser 33V Class A motor home, and within a week of purchase took it to Colorado.

We will be retiring to our home in Texas in January, 2008, and we plan to travel extensively in the RV towing our 2007 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. We plan to visit oscure courthouses and archives in the eastern half of the country to do genealogy research on both out lines We also plan to spend a great deal of time in the Rocky Mountains and Southwest deserts exploring the backroads. Our BHAG (big hairy, audacion goal) is to drive the Alaska Highway to our most northern state. We might even take a side trip to the Arctic Ocean. Then maybe we will get the courage to tackle Mexico.
