Wyoming - Summer, 1997

Although this was not strictly speaking an offroad trip, it was fun Jeep trip from Cedar Rapids, IA to the Rocky Mountains. The first stop was a visit to Mount Rushmore, my first trip to that landmark. That night I drove into Wyoming and visted Devil's Tower, the mysterios landmark made famous by the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." Next was my first trip to Yellowstone National Park. On the way to Wyoming I stopped briefly at the Grand Teton National Park.
