Trailkeepers Memorial Day Run, Jellico, Tennessee, May 2002 Scott and Matthwe, Phil, Mark, John, and Lee and Cec found the Trailkeepers Foundation Memorial Day Run at Jellico, Tennessee on the Internet and decided to check it out. The Trailkeepers is a group of four wheelers primarily from the Cincinnati area who have developed trails on private land in the Jellico area. The Jellico trails are very scenic with several overlooks, natural bridges, shetler caves, and waterfalls. The trails range from easy to very difficult. The area is also used for the JROCC rock crawling chamionship. Trail riders can try some of these obstacles if they dare. |

Frank and Joey successfully extricated Frank's TJ from the rocks in a run up a fast flowing creek. The rocks were so large that they grabbed all but trucks with 35" or larger tires and so so slick that rescuers had difficulty keeping their footing. |

Scott rolled his CJ-7 and smashed his windshield, creating an exciting new look. Fortunately neither Scott or Matthew suffered any injuries. Matthew's only comment was "I told Dad to go to the left." |
